Abstract:

The nectar production independent of the floral age in Thymus serpylloides Bory subsp. serpylloides and Th. serpylloides subsp. gadorensis (Pau) Jalas, for both hermaphrodite and female individuals, has been compared. We report nectar volumes produced per hermaphrodite flower over a twenty-four hour period, as a function of the floral age.
