Abstract:

The essential oil of the aerial parts of Thymus zygioides var. lycaonicus from Greece was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Thirty-seven compounds representing 99.8% of the total oil were identified. The major constituents were p-cymene (19.4%), thymol (19.5%) and γ-terpinene (17.2%). © 2008 Allured Publishing Corp.
